This week has been hard for everyone, but it shouldn't mean that we don't have time to do our blogs at home! so I wanna apologise for not doing blogs for the past couple of weeks, but I promise I'm going to try better and do more blogs daily.

Watercolour painting: flowers

 Kia ora readers!

Today I'm going to be sharing with you guys what me and my art class have been doing for the past few weeks. We have been practising our water colouring on flowers but we also did some random stuff with it.

We did a quizlet of the types of water colours like layering, glazing, dilution, and more. We also learnt how to shade in different styles of paint and brush types to see what would happen. although it was very hard to learn to do all of those since I'm not the best in colouring or drawing OR painting.

What was very challenging for me was layering since I was never very good at it but I still tried it and it was very fun.

My final painting was very upsetting since I made it very carefully but I lost it so i had to make another one which was a daffodil my first one which I really liked was a flower pot and since there wasn't a lot of time I had to rush my daffodil so it doesn't look like the best.

Studio coding

Hello readers!

This week in hurumanu we have been learning about some coding and here is a link to the app we have been using to learn more about coding: Code.org this link takes you to a page where my class used to learn how to do coding. We learnt about lots of actions and the coding org also called the creatures we used "spirts" and the app helped us to give them behaviours, actions, worlds, and locations. In my opinion I think that app was really good and I learnt a lot from it so my rating is a ten out of ten. And it's not that difficult to learn on it so I think you should use it! 

Question of the day: was coding.org interesting?

Gummy Bear Osmosis

 Aim: I want to find out what happens to Gummy Bears when left in liquids.

Method: Equipment

• Gummy Bears.
• Liquids-water, sodium chloride, glucose.
• Electronic scale.
• 4x Petri dishes.
• Marker pen.

Instructions: 

• Get all of your equipment.
• right your name and the condition on the petri dish.
• weigh the gummy bear and put it down on the petri dish
